10 pre installed apps out of 20 is a pretty low number if you think about it (Although you could say there are 12 as Calcbot just replaced the calculator and Simplenote the notes app).

Let me go through the other apps:

1. dict.cc is my dictionary. It doesn’t require internet access and has pretty much everything I need, except for a history

2. Articles is the best Wikipedia “client” I found. It just works, looks beautiful and allows you to quickly switch between languages

3. As a Berliner, FahrInfo Berlin is a must. It shows you the fastest and best connections when you’re lost or looking for a fast way home.

4. Facebook. Yeah.

5. I host my podcast on Squarespace so I use the app to manage comments and access statistics

6. tagesschau. I guess I don’t have to explain that

7. Tweetbot is one of the 200 twitter client I’ve tried and I like it. It has a unique UI, every service I need and is easy to use

8. The 2.0 update for the tumblr app made me put it back in the dock after a long time. It is a really great app to blog stuff on the go, especially photos or quotes.
